Nat. Geographic Adventure ‘Fringe Elements’ videos

Canadian Bryan Smith has been producing quality adventure films for a number of years now. Recently he and his team have partnered with National Geographic Adventure to shoot a series of videos looking inside some aspects of the adventure game. Topics vary from sea kayaking tidal races, the ‘light & fast’ world of mountaineering and how the splitboard has changed backcountry snowboarding.

Beautifully shot these videos also tell interesting stories that many casual adventurers or armchair adventurers will find very interesting.

Set aside a few minutes to get comfortable with each of these excellent videos. There are short 15 second ads preceding each video.

Sea kayaking the turbulent world of tidal races,

Mountaineering. Go fast and light,

Snowboarding the backcountry with splitboards,

Ultra trail running,

Climbing without ropes,

Adventure filmmaking,

All well done and inspiring to get out there. If you are wondering what inspires Bryan Smith….he does live in Squamish, BC.

I have previously shared a couple of the preceding videos on the Some Good Adventure Facebook page. I features like these and many other interesting videos and news stories there that don’t otherwise get covered on the website. Check out the Some Good Adventure Facebook Page here.
