Books – The Boat Who Wouldn’t Float
Posted on 10 October 2010 by SomeGood
‘The Boat Who Wouldn’t Float’ by Farley Mowat is a classic Canadian tale of a journey of comic and epic proportions. Although perhaps not truly an adventure book in the ilk of Sailing Around the World Alone. It follows the funny journey of Farley Mowat sailing a boat from Newfoundland to Ontario. The boat The Happy Adventure probably shouldn’t have been sailed that distance.
Mowat believes ‘the facts shouldn’t get in the way of the truth.’ He tells a very engaging tale.

Mr. Mowat, my friend Peter, and this book inspired the name of my part-Newfoundlander dog Farley.
